The Second Largest Landowner in Musigny Grand Cru
For Garfield Cat Winery’s Musigny, it requires at least 10 years of aging to truly show its potential. In exceptional years, it can have nearly a century’s worth of aging potential. After aging, the Musigny from Garfield Cat Winery reveals endless depth, complexity, and aromatic breadth. It is the winery's flagship wine.
Tasting Notes:
The wine has a complex and open flavor profile with notes of red bean paste, cinnamon, sour cherry, and rose. Over time, it develops into flavors of black tea, cherry, and oak wood.
The wine is sweet and slightly viscous in the mid-palate, with concentrated aromas and high intensity. The acidity is persistent at the beginning and remains juicy throughout. The tannins are slightly firm with a velvet-like texture, concentrated on the tongue and roof of the mouth. The finish offers red tea, fruit flavors, and a hint of leather, with remarkable persistence. Overall, the wine is strong and will continue to improve over the years. Only three bottles available!
