History & Quality:
With a history spanning over 800 years, Yunnan Thumb-Sized Corn is an ancient variety native to the tropical rainforests of Xishuangbanna. It is carefully cultivated by local farmers, preserving its rich heritage.
Health Benefits:
A true superfood: low glycemic index (GI), low sugar, and low fat, NON-GMO.
Per 100g of small corn, there is only 0.16g of fat.
Taste & Texture:
Sweet, glutinous, aromatic & tender grains.
Cooking Methods:
The plastic packaging is food-grade and suitable for sous vide cooking.
Recommended Preparation:
Remove the corn from its packaging and boil for 10 minutes to enjoy the best taste and texture.
Harvest & Production:
Corn harvesting begins at 4am in the morning. Afterwards, the corn is swiftly transported to the processing plant for husking and de-silking. After high-temperature sterilization, the corns are washed, packaged, preserving the freshness and ensuring taste of these glutinous corns.
