La Vouivre 2021
70% Chardonnay / 30% Savagnin
• A traditional-style blend combining Chardonnay’s finesse with Savagnin’s regional character. It undergoes natural fermentation and ages in used 225 L Burgundy oak barrels for approximately 12–15 months .
• Displays a rich profile with well-balanced minerality and a long aftertaste .
• Aromas include Meyer lemon, apple cider, yellow pear, plus spiced walnut and candied ginger, with a subtle hint of “flor” (a veil of yeast) in parts of the wine .
• Excellent with fried fish with lemon, creamy braised meats, or Jura cheeses like Comté and raclette
