Located in Yunlin, south of Taiwan, Chen Yuan Ho's history traced back to 1888, spanning across over 130 years and is one of the oldest soy sauce producers in Taiwan. Its successive generations of operators not only inherit the traditional brewing techniques and continue to uphold the principles of selecting premium ingredients for brewing without adding any artificial flavour enhancers or chemical additives. They adhere to the quality of pure-brewed soy sauce, and uphold various sustainable business practices. The producer strictly require all the black soy bean suppliers to provide a pesticide-free certificate to ensure the quality of the black soy beans.

位于云林西螺的陈源和酱油厂，始于清朝光绪年间，确切的成立年份已不可考，从户籍资料则可追溯至1888年。走过一百三十多年的历史，代代经营者不仅传授古法酿造技术，更要接棒者传承身为制酱者应有的美德，秉持着「拒绝化学酱油、精选材料酿造、不添加人工调味剂，坚守纯酿酱油的品质，踏踏实实地迈往永续经营. 

陈源和酱油皆为古法纯酿造酱油、无添加，并根据豆汁和水的比例调制不同浓度。在后续熬煮过程中，并不另外加盐，您品尝到的盐度完全源自原始酿造豆汁。浓度越高的酱油，豆香味越浓郁且回甘，虽然盐度较高，但用量更省。属于中浓度酱油, 建议初次品尝的您，根据喜好斟酌用量。

原料须提供无农药残留检验报告，使用澳洲海盐。

其黑豆原料依产地分为:台湾本土黑豆、贵级进口黑豆 。
